Jillian Edwards is a singer/songwriter based in Franklin, TN. Softly reminiscent of Sixpence None The Richer with a Southern swirl, Texas-born Jillian Edwards’ ethereal indie-folk vocals blend seamlessly with her own melodic sensibility in her latest release “If My Heart Was A Town.”

From grassroots touring throughout her twenties, to expanding her audience through her captivating writing + vocals appearing in TV and film over the years, Jillian has more than a decade of releases and loyal listeners under her belt. You can hear songs she’s written for TV/Film on shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Nashville, Pretty Little Liars, The Fosters, The Originals, & Catfish. Her voice has also been featured on ads for Citi Bank, Payless, and DignityHealth.

 Jillian’s music recording career started in 2009, with her self-released EP Galaxies & Such. Her next release, Headfirst, was released in 2011 and was her first project to chart on Billboard, where it placed on five charts: The Billboard 200 at No. 187, Folk Albums at No. 6, Rock Albums at No. 32, Independent Albums at No. 28, and Heatseekers Albums at No. 2. In 2014, she released the studio album Daydream, which was placed on three Billboard magazine charts, where it peaked at No. 6 on Folk Albums, No. 33 on Independent Albums, and No. 6 on Heatseekers Albums. 

 Rediscovering herself musically through the transformative seasons of marriage and motherhood has brought her craft to fresh ground, pulling back the curtain on her own whimsical world of effortless country music. Her first single “If My Heart Was A Town” off her upcoming EP Texas In Me is the first glimpse of her own genre she coins as “gentle country” —inviting, understated roots that have been there along— laced up in airy vocals, sincere storytelling, and songs seeking beauty in the ordinary. Jillian’s dreamlike sonic tendencies paired with grounded, natural storytelling conjures an artistic identity that is one of a kind.
